An Unfinished Odyssey

This great chronicle of Robert F. Kennedy's 1968 presidential campaign details his political struggles and his tragic death by assassination.  David Halberstam (1934-2007) was a journalist who gained notoriety for his coverage of the Vietnam War, his close connections to an informant who was revealed to be a North Vietnamese agent, his coverage of the Civil Rights Movement, and his sports journalism in later years.  His chronicle of Kennedy is a celebration of a man who in the face of a familial tragedy, sought to continue his slain brother's legacy, and ultimately met the same end.

This signed first edition is in impeccable shape, and is a must for a fan of journalism as well as American history.
